Why buy if you can rent?
I was walking home today from studying and I thought I would get a little clearification. My eyes instantly fell upon a women for rent sign. I never knew renting was an option. I always thought it worked some other way... The sign says Fall and Winter or Spring and Summer... Oh well, I don't think I have enough money to afford a full year. I might just consider a Spring/Summer contract. I think they are cheaper... Also, I think I might be able to get a group rate for even cheaper... I wonder if I can rent to own.

Happy St. Daddy's Day
Through out the years March 17th has stuck in my heart as a special day. Yesterday as I pinched the non-green wearers I instantly was reminded about the truly important meaning of this day...It is the birth of our dear friend Graham "The Daddy" Orme. I suggest this day be set as a national holiday in rememberence of his birth.

A Messy Studio Leads to a Messy Song.

To the extreme I rock a mic like a vandal...Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle...
So I was listening to some old albums that I liked in high school and start to feel a little nostalgic... These memories of mine led me on a quest to discover my favorite albums of all time. So I began... but I quickly realized my list was too long. There are just too many to pick from. So instead of making a list of all of them I decided to make a list of my favorite albums for any given year.
I made a rule that I had to have listened to the album in that year. For example, I really liked DJ Shadows- Entroducing which was released in 1996 however, I can't add it to my list because I didn't discover it until 1999. So it is out of the picture.
The list goes all the way back to 1990 when I got my first cassette tape for my birthday.

Little Sound DJ
I just got this cartridge in the mail that for the past two years I have been looking for. I was able to get a hold of the programmer and he was able to get me a copy. It was difficult but well worth it.
The cartridge I got is called Little Sound DJ. It is a sequencer designed to play on the game boy. In a sense it is a drum machine that uses the 8-bit sound card in the game boy and allows the user to program different sounds.
Here is an example of some popular Little Sound DJers
In the near future I plan on posting some of my own Game Boy beats.
