Internet Addiction Rehab

The first ever internet addiction rehad opened its doors. And guess where it's located?
In my home town of Fall City Washington.
The lady who started it was in my ward growing up.

Crazy

Do you need to go to Rehab?

Nirvana... The true murderer of Shoegaze.

Reminiscing over 90's music has long been the job/obsession of my friend Jonah. However, I can not fault him for his obsession with the 90's. I too am a victim and find myself having nostalgic feelings in my heart for many of the bands from that time. Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Pearl Jam etc. Man, They Rocked.

Shoegaze, on the other hand, is one of my more recent loves (as with in the last 10 years). During the 90's I had never heard of the British alternative bands such as My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Ride, and The Sunday's. Grunge music had complete overshadowed them. Shoegaze aroused in the late 80's and had it's peak in the early 90's. At the same time in America Nirvana was born and Shoegaze took a back seat to one of the biggest music movements. I wish I had heard of Shoegaze back then and was able to support them but alas Nirvana killed them with it's global domination. So here I wanted to share a few of my favorite Shoegaze/Dream Pop songs from that time.
